May 19, 2017Premier Ag employee Westin Rink was recently named a “Rising Star” by The Agricultural Retailers Association. The ARA recognized 20 top performers in the agricultural retail industry as members of the Rising Stars Class of 2016.
ARA began the Rising Stars program in 2013 as a recognition and development program for high achievers and future leaders within the ag retail sector. This special distinction, sponsored by Yargus Manufacturing, provides ARA member companies with a hands-on opportunity to introduce new and/or emerging leaders to ARA and its conference.
The conference provides participants an opportunity to engage with ARA through a solid lineup of keynote speakers, educational sessions, exclusive networking events and first-class trade show. Future leaders gain a better understanding of regulatory forces and legislative pressures shaping how ARA acts regarding key issues facing ag retailers.
Westin Rink is an Account Manager at Premier Ag and is responsible for delivering customized solutions to our farmer owners.
“Westin excels at bringing together complex agronomic insights and pairing them with the latest technology and products to help customers be more profitable, reduce risk, and increase efficiency. Always focused on the customer, Westin upholds the highest standards of quality, integrity, performance, and service that Premier Ag provides. He expects excellence from himself as well as his co-workers, has little patience for the status quo, and strives to make sure the entire team works toward meeting the customer needs,” said Sal Sama, Premier Ag Director of Sales and Marketing.
“Westin’s can-do attitude, integrity, and personal drive certainly contributes to his recent recognition as a Rising Star by the Ag Retailers Association as well as being recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Agribusiness Council of Indiana.”
